Like a sheep needs a shepherd, I need my dad. My dad wanted me so much he adopted me, like a shepherd adopts a sheep.

My dad and I have such a strong relationship that even the biggest fight between us would never break our bond. That’s how much he loves me.

My dad encourages me when I’m feeling blue, helps me when I’m confused, and always makes me feel good about myself.

Even though my dad disciplines me, I know he does it for my own good. I’ll thank him for this when I’m older.

I wish my dad spend Saturday afternoons with me more often. We could go rock climbing, to a gymnastics meet, or see a movie.

I remember when my dad and I went camping together. I had lots of fun learning survival tips. It was very cold that night, so while I was in my dad’s warm sleeping bag, he was in my freezing cold sleeping bag. Until this day, I still remember that night!

My dad makes me feel like a million bucks. I always feel fantastic when I’m with him. He’s the best.

We have our happy times, our sad times, our fun and frightening times, but we get together, like we are the best of friends.

My dad will continue to be the world’s best dad for as long as I live.
